There may come a time when the home you have doesn’t seem to be the home you want or need. Then the question is, do you find a new home and move, or stay and improve the home you have?

Do the bathrooms and the kitchen look old, dingy with dripping faucets? Do your kids do their homework in the living room and you and the spouse do the budget and pay the bills at the kitchen table? That may mean you either need to move, or renovate to add a den or office.
So the real question is: how much does your home, your neighborhood, and your neighbors mean to you? If everything you loved about that house and the neighborhood is still there, but just needs a face lift and a bit more space, then maybe what you need is a renovation, keeping the things you love intact, but making everything else even better.
